Est\u00e1 situada en el extremo sur de la isla Canaria\u00a0de El Hierro. En plena Costa Atlantica, La Restinga constituye el nucleo de poblacion\u00a0m\u00e1s meridional\u00a0de toda Espa\u00f1a.\u00a0El 11 de octubre\u00a0de 2011\u00a0el pueblo fue totalmente evacuado por la amenaza de una erupcion volcanica\u00a0frente a su costa<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #cc99ff;\">En Venezuela, bautizaron con dicho nombre una Laguna en Isla Margarita <\/span><span style=\"font-size: small;\">\u00ab<span style=\"color: #cc99ff;\">El\u00a0<strong>Parque Nacional Laguna de La Restinga\u00bb <\/strong>que esta\u00a0ubicado en el Estado Nueva Esparta<\/span><span style=\"color: #cc99ff;\">.
