Del tema se har\u00edan numerosas versiones en las voces de <span style=\"color: #ff99cc;\">Tito Schipa<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #ff99cc;\">,<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #ff99cc;\"> Hugo Avenda\u00f1o, Pl\u00e1cido Domingo; Trio Los Panchos; Nana Mouskouri; Andrea Bocelli, Jimmy Dorsey, <\/span><span style=\"color: #cc99ff;\"><span style=\"color: #ff99cc;\">etc<\/span>. Numerosos artistas la cantaron en ingl\u00e9s, franc\u00e9s, holand\u00e9s, etc. \u00abAmapola\u00bb fue <span style=\"color: #00ff00;\">originalmente compuesta sin letra, <\/span>siendo la primera de ellas la que en <span style=\"color: #00ff00;\">1940<\/span> compusiera\u00a0 Albert Gamse<\/span>.<\/span><\/div>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #cc99ff;\">Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Lacalle Garc\u00eda, espa\u00f1ol nacionalizado norteamericano, realiz\u00f3 un arreglo registrado en Argentina como fox trot el 15-04-1921. Es anterior la versi\u00f3n de Jos\u00e9 Padilla en pasodoble que a su vez era arreglo de la que compuso el compositor sinf\u00f3nico mexicano Manuel Mar\u00eda Ponce Cu\u00e9llar. Fue grabada por vez primera en 1925 por el tenor espa\u00f1ol Miguel Fleta. Albert Gamse es autor de la letra original inglesa \u201cLittle Prety Poppy\u201d, en 1940.
